CCTV in Fylde
Fylde Borough Council operates two separate CCTV systems:- 1. A Town Centre system in St. Annes and Kirkham, monitored by Blackpool Council on behalf of Fylde. 2. A rapid deployment camera system operated in partnership with the police. The aims and objectives of both systems are:- • Assist in reducing the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour. • Help to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour • Assist in the prosecution of offenders.
