These are the ways you can report a hate incident or crime:

  • If it is a non-emergency situation, you can report this to the police by calling 0845 1 25 35 45 and speaking to a Communications Operator;
  • Contact your local Neighbourhood Policing Team - details can be obtained using the link to the right of the page.
  • Visit your local police station - details can be obtained using the link to the right of the page.
  • Call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 - Crimestoppers is a completely independent organisation which allows you to provide details of a crime without revealing your identity - all you have to do is provide as much information as you can about the crime.
  • Alternatively you can contact your local authority.  Please see the link to the right of the page for the detailed leaflet and reporting form. Please note this link is under construction and will be available shortly.
