If you are looking for traditional, English produce look no further than Fylde Farmers’ Market held on the first Thursday of every month between 8am and 1pm excluding January and two markets are held in December the first Thursday and the Thursday before Christmas. This market changed location in October and it has proved to be very successful now located on the Car Park opposite JR Taylors.
Farmers’ markets are intended to enable local producers to sell their goods directly to the consumer. You will find fresh, wholesome and good quality produce, sold at a fair price. The market only sells things that are produced locally. Everything you see will have been grown, reared, made, pickled, smoked, baked or brewed by the stall holder.
Free range eggs, fish, lamb, pork, beef, cheese from goats, sheep and cows, fresh seasonal vegetables, apple juice, jams, bread and honey. You will be surprised what grows locally and what is made in and around the Fylde.
