Effective consultation is a key element of Fylde Councils modernisation programme as it generates invaluable information, insights and learning that we can use to shape services in accordance with customer's requirement. We believe that everyone should have an opportunity to have their say on issues that affect them and this site brings together the consultation work that is currently in progress, as well as information on past projects, to assist in this process.
To provide a set of principles and guidance to assist Fylde communities when planning and carrying out engagement in the Fylde District a Community Engagement Strategy is now available that has been developed by Fylde Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). Fylde LSP brings together public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations - such as those in the council, health, education, crime reduction, businesses, and local community groups who work collectively to achieve the joint ambitious vision for the Fylde area, contained in the Sustainable Community Strategy.
