Food Safety Inspection Taking Place
There are approximately 800 food premises within the Borough of Fylde and, as far as possible, the Food Safety Team are responsible for ensuring that these premises comply with the relevant legislation and that the food manufactured and sold within the Borough is safe to eat.
To this end the Food Safety Team are involved in a number of areas of work including:
- Investigation of Food Complaints
- Food Hygiene Inspections
- Food Sampling Programmes
- Food Hygiene Training
- Investigation of Food Poisoning
