What concession does my now card entitle me to?
Free local bus travel from 9:30am until 11:00pm Monday to Friday, and all days weekends and bank holidays, across England.
What is inheritance tax and will I have to pay it?
Inheritance tax is payable on the estate of a person who has died if the value of the estate (including certain gifts made within 7 years of death), is over a certain threshold. Currently (February 2010) this is £325,000.
When will I be entitled to a free TV licence?
Anyone aged 75 or over is entitled to a free TV licence for their main residence. Only one free TV licence is available for each household. You can apply online: https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/pay/index.aspx
