Can cremated remains be interred and their position marked with a memorial?

Within the Gardens of Remembrance at Lytham Park there is provision for the erection of new Memorial Wall Plaques. There are other types of memorial within the Garden but any blank Kerbstones etc have been purchased in reserve by families. We regret that there is no further provision for Memorial Seats within the Garden.

Cremated remains resting in Gardens of Remembrance are normally scattered and are not contained in a casket or container of any kind.

If it is required to inter cremated remains a grave, with traditional facilities for memorialisation, may be purchased in the Cemetery. Enquiries should be made to the Registrar.
