Help us plan for the next generation

Selection of people with hands in the air
It will establish a long term vision for the Borough in terms of how it should develop over future years. It will also include a number of Strategic policies on topics which will seek to achieve the vision. Topics will include: distribution of employment and housing land, tourism, environmental issues, retail development, sport and recreation. The Planning Policy Team is holding community engagement events across the Borough between Monday 7th and Thursday 17th February 2011.
Fylde Borough Council’s planners will be coming to seek your views on the main planning policy issues facing the Borough over the next 20 years, whether you agree with the objectives to address the issues identified and what the future spatial vision of Fylde should include and look like.
All comments received as part of the consultation will be summarized and added to the existing evidence base collected so far. This evidence will be used to write the “draft Vision, Issues and Objectives” document which you will have an opportunity to comment on later in the year.
