Non-Dependant Deduction's

Information about Non-Dependant Deduction's.

A non-dependant is someone who normally lives with the benefit claimant, such as an adult son, daughter, relative or friend. Borders, sub-tenants and joint tenants are not non-dependants. Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit are normally reduced for each non-dependant living in the claimant’s home.
