Night Less Ordinary is an Arts Council England scheme in association with Metro, which will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under 26 in more than 200 venues across England. For more information about the scheme visit

- With more than 200 venues across the country taking part, wherever a young person lives, there should be a venue in their region that will be offering the free tickets
- The initiative is designed to reach young people and their families, to create new audiences and to develop a new generation of arts attendees.
- The Arts Council wants young people to grow up with a strong sense of the possibilities the arts give them. To make that happen, we must challenge the notion of 'art's not for me' and make it easy for young people to get access to excellent, inspiring art. Free Theatre does just that.
