2011
The sports awards celebrate sporting achievement and showcase best practice throughout the borough. They aim to pay tribute to those, young and old, that show dedication to perform at the highest level or those who work tirelessly to support individuals or clubs week in, week out, for the love of sport. Nominations are now open for these awards in the following categories:
Coach of the Year
Community Club of the Year
Young Volunteer of the Year
Adult Volunteer of the Year
School of the Year
Rising Star
Lifetime Achievement - Commitment to Sport

Nominations can be made at http://www.lancashiresport.org.uk/fylde-sports-awards. The deadline for completed nomination forms is Friday 9th September.
The winner of each category is put forward to the Lancashire Sports Awards with a presentation evening being held on Friday 25th November 2011 at the Hilton Hotel, Blackpool.

Fylde nominations went through to the Lancashire Sports Awards which was held at a glamorous presentation evening on Friday 26th November 2010 at The Pleasure Beach, Blackpool.
