The new 2009 Fylde Annual Report is now available to download towards the bottom right hand side of this page.

Fylde Borough Council is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the people who live, work in and visit our borough.  We do this through the promotion and improvement of the economic, social and environmental well-being and working closely with our partners across the community.

Every year the Council with its partners make significant strides forward to improve the quality of services and the quality of life in the borough.  These achievements are out lined in the Annual Report that has been produced so that you know what we have done to make a difference over the last 12 months.

We have a number of core beliefs and commitments that we apply to everything we do which are out lined below. We don't believe in providing run of the mill services.  Second best isn't good enough for Fylde.

  • We believe in providing top-class services that meet real need and have the potential to change people's lives.
  • We know what we do helps to shape local communities, from making places cleaner and safer, to creating more local jobs.
  • We believe that where people live is central to their quality of life and that what the Council does can make a big difference.
  • We want people to love where they live , and live better because of it.
  • We're all about helping local people to achieve this.

Our annual report shows how as a low-charging council with really big ambitions, we achieved great things and made a real difference each year.  The report also out lines our commitment to continue to make Fylde a great place for everyone.A copy of the Annual Report can be downloaded using the link on this page or you can request a paper copy by emailing listening@fylde.gov.uk and asking for a copy to be sent to your address.
