A new exhibition of the works goes on display at the Fylde Art Gallery based in Booths Store, Haven Road in Lytham this week.
The exhibition, entitled A View to the Sea, is a collection of art work from the Council’s extensive collection that has been put together with a nautical theme. It will be on display in the gallery until 30 October to give residents a chance to view the impressive range of work.
Councillor Susan Fazackerley, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture, said: “The gallery is intended to allow our residents to see some of the wonderful works of art we are lucky enough to have in our collection. This exhibition is truly inspirational and filled with some beautiful pieces that I am sure all art lovers will appreciate and enjoy.”
The exhibition is free to view and has been put together in Partnership with Booths, Friends of Lytham St Annes Art Collection, Lytham St Annes Civic Society, Lancashire County Museum Service and Fylde Borough Council.
