National Passenger Group Bus Users UK is holding one of its Bus Users Surgeries in the town centre, on Church Street, 10am – 3pm, Thursday 25th June 2009.
The surgery will be held on board a Metro Coastliner bus parked outside Marks & Spencer Main entrance, and senior management from Metro Coastliner and the Local Authority will be on hand to discuss comments and suggestions. Everyone will receive a written response if required.
Local Bus User Representatives will also be in attendance on the day.
Phil Tonks, Operations Officer for England, Bus Users UK said;
“It is important that local bus users in Blackpool get to meet the people responsible for providing the local bus service. Public transport is a vital service, and this type of meeting helps people to have their say whilst out and about in the town”.
