Lancashire Police Authority has launched a campaign to recruit a new Independent Member of the Authority, to serve for a four year term, from 1st April 2010.

Members of the Police Authority play a key part in improving police performance and raising the standard of policing in Lancashire. It is hoped that the person joining will bring a wide range of experience and skills to the Authority, to help it scrutinise the police service on behalf of local people.
