The Mayor of Fylde is inviting residents to join in celebrating the best fare the Fylde can produce at a special Harvest Lunch at Ribby Hall.
The lunch will include a charity auction and raffle to raise money for the Mayors charities which include the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, Lytham St Annes Lifeboat and the Friends of Sunnybank Day Centre. It will allow attendees to enjoy a three course meal made from locally sourced produce.
Cllr Paul Rigby, Mayor of Fylde, said: “I am a farmer by trade and so I have a lot of links with the farming community. Harvest is the biggest time of year and this is a chance for farmers to show off their produce. Plus it is a chance for residents to see some of the fantastic quality that is produced on their doorstep and celebrate what Fylde has to offer.”
Tickets for the lunch, to take place on Sunday 27 September 2009 at the Rowan Suite at Ribby Hall, are just £25. For more details and to book a place, which are limited, contact Anne McVittie on 01253 658505.
