Candidates in place for Kilnhouse poll

 Four candidates have thrown their hat in the ring for September’s Kilnhouse by-election.

The Kilnhouse, St Annes, poll for a seat on Fylde Council follows the death in June of Councillor John Prestwich.

Candidates are:

• Karen Maureen Henshaw of Headroomgate Road, Lytham St Annes. Liberal Democrat Party;

• Matthew Leon Lardner of Mayfield Road, Lytham St Annes. Conservative Party;

• Ian Stanley Roberts of Hope Street, Lytham St Annes. Green Party;

• Peter James Stephenson of Napier Close, Lytham St Annes. Labour Party.

The election will be held on Thursday 9 September between 7am and 10pm. Voting will take place at: St Albans Church Hall on Kilnhouse Lane; Heyhouses CE Junior School, Clarendon Road.
