Volunteers are needed for work parties to improve Fylde’s coastal areas and dunes.

The new Fairhaven Coastal Care Group will remove litter from the Fairhaven foreshore from 10am every Wednesday, meeting at St. Paul’s Avenue car park at the north of the lake.

The already established sand dune volunteers are also looking for more help for their regular improvement works. They will be clearing pathways from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 5 September, meeting at North Beach car park, St Annes.

They meet again at 10am on Tuesday 7 September to remove invasive white poplar, meeting at Fairhaven dunes, opposite Denford Avenue.
