Tickets available for top musical evening
Exciting Musical Event

Black Music Note
SOME of Lancashire’s top musical performers will be in Kirkham next month to raise money for the mayor of Fylde’s charities.
The top talent includes the Kirkham Singers’ Choir, the Singleton Bell Ringers, the youngsters of the Lancashire Music Service Choir and the men of the Red Rose Barbershop Choir.
The concert will be staged at Carr Hill School, Kirkham, at 7pm on Thursday 11 February.
Councillor Paul Rigby, Fylde mayor, said: “These are top performers who will perform everything from popular music and songs from the shows to modern classics.
“It will be a great family-orientated evening. A show of this quality would cost a small fortune in Blackpool or Manchester – yet these performers have agreed to appear for nothing for charity.”
All age ranges will be represented, from the 10-year-old children of the Lancashire Music Service Choir to an 82-year-old member of Kirkham Singers’ Choir.
Tickets (£5 in advance, £6 on the door, £2.50 concessions) are available from any member of Kirkham Singers’ Choir or from Maura Goodier on 01772 726040.
The mayoral charities include Lytham St Annes lifeboat, Rosemere Cancer Foundation and the Friends of Sunnybank (a group that helps adults with learning difficulties).
