On 5th – 14th November 2010, a group of adventure seekers will fly off to India to Cycle the Land of the Kings; in aid of the thousands of children saved by the specialist equipment provided by registered charity MedEquip4Kids. The funding means that doctors can have vital equipment unavailable within the limited budgets of the NHS.

The fantastic event has been designed to challenge a group of budding explorers do something that will change the lives of thousands of families in the UK. The Cycle India challenge is a fantastic 5 day event that will see our participants travelling over 400km across the beautiful Indian state of Rajasthan.

Our amazing adventure starts with a visit to one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, the incomparable Taj Mahal! Our cycle challenge takes us through tribal trails, royal pathways, fantastic hill and desert landscapes! This spectacular challenge will see us experiencing India at its best! We have the honour of celebrating India’s largest national festival Diwali, festival of lights; take a tour of the amazing Amber forts in the Pink City (Jaipur) and we even spend the night in the fantastic Bhadrawadi palace.

MedEquip4Kids depends entirely on voluntary donations from its supporters and events such as Cycle India. Global Adventure Challenges are calling on people from around the UK to saddle up and come cycle through some of the most breathtaking countryside that India has to offer. If you have ever wanted to challenge yourself, see the world and experience something remarkable, then what are you waiting for, you cannot just let this opportunity pass you by!

To take part in this fantastic challenge, participants will need to pay a registration fee of just £249, and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £2,750 for MedEquip4kids. All travel, accommodation, refreshments, guides and medical support are included. Full fitness training to prepare for the challenge and fundraising support will be provided through professional event organisers, Global Adventure Challenges.

Places are extremely limited. Further information regarding the event can be found at www.cycleindia.co.uk or by calling 0800 046 1297. Alternatively interested parties can email bookings@cycleindia.co.uk
