The result was:

Frank Roland Andrews (Conservative) 292;

Janet Wardell (Independent) 256;

David Hobson (Green) 11.

The council’s composition is now as follows: Conservative 29; Independent 12; Individual (non-aligned) 3; Independent (non-aligned) 1; Ratepayers 3; Liberal Democrat 2.

The council has one vacancy after the death of Councillor John Prestwich (Conservative) who represented Kilnhouse ward.
