The safety of the food we eat is a top priority of the Food Standards Agency and Food Safety sections of local authorities. Food Safety Week provides an annual focus where we can promote and communicate food hygiene messages throughout the borough.
To mark the National Food Safety Week between 7 and 13 June, Fylde Council has sent information packs and posters to primary schools to aid teaching the importance of clean hands in the vital fight against food poisoning.
