Voters will be returning to the polls on Thursday 1 July to elect a new councillor for Fylde Council’s Ribby-with-Wrea ward.

The by-election follows the death of Councillor Lindsay Greening who had represented the area for three years.

Candidates are:

• Frank Roland Andrews, of St Nicholas Grove, Wrea Green. Conservative Party.

• David Hobson, of Parkside Road, St Annes. Green Party.

• Janet Wardell, of Richmond Avenue, Wrea Green. Independent.

Polling will take place at Ribby-with-Wrea CE School, Dubside, between 7am and 10pm.
