Free sports sessions

A range of free sporting activities is planned to keep youngsters busy in next week’s school half-term holidays.

Organised by Fylde Community Safety Partnership, the eight activity sessions are free for all 12-17 year-olds.

Youngsters can just turn up and take part in a range of sports. YMCA organisers will turn up with a range of sporting equipment so, within reason, children can say what activity they want to take part in.

The sessions are as follows:

Monday 13 February, 2-4pm. Memorial Park/Barnfield, Kirkham;

Tuesday 14 February, 2-4pm. Lower Lane, Freckleton;

Tuesday 14 February, 2-4pm. Ashton Gardens, St Annes;

Wednesday 15 February, 2-4pm. Hove Road Park, St Annes;

Thursday 16 February, 2-4pm. Bridges Playing Fields, Warton;

Thursday 16 February, 2-4pm. Ashton Gardens, St Annes;

Friday 17 February, 2-4pm. Rawstron Centre, Freckleton;

Saturday 18 February, 2-4pm. Fairhaven Lake, next to skate park.
