Fylde Council are delighted to be working in partnership once again this summer with Home-Start, URPotential, Fylde Foodbank and Blackpool FC Community Trust to deliver another exciting programme of free summer activities for children aged 7 to 11 years old. Thanks to external funding secured from Progress Housing’s Community Investment Fund and the Lytham Schools Foundation, we are able to build on the success of last year’s pilot and extend the programme across three venues as follows:
Hope Street Pavilion – Mondays; Lower Lane Community Centre – Tuesdays and Thursdays; Walter Avenue Methodist Church – Wednesdays and Fridays
All sessions will be delivered between 9am – 1pm from Monday 30th July to Friday 31st August excluding the summer bank holiday. These fun filled, interactive sessions will include a range of exciting sporting activities, arts and crafts and cooking tips as well as a tasty, nutritious meal and healthy snacks. Paul Caddy, and volunteers from Wesley's will be joining the team to do the catering.
Parental consent will be required to guarantee attendance and consent forms will be available on the day. For further information please call Blackpool Football Club Community Trust on 01253 348691.
