Recycling Collection Service
Each household is provided with one set of wheeled bins (green and grey), a green box, a blue bag/white sack and a yellow bag.
- Green bin to collect garden waste
- Grey wheeled bin to collect any domestic rubbish that cannot be recycled.
- Green box to collect (rinsed) glass bottles / jars, cans, aerosols, foil trays and aluminium foil, plastic bottles
- Yellow bag to collect unwanted textiles.
- White sack / Blue bag to collect cardboard, newspapers, magazines, junk mail, white envelopes (including windows), telephone directories, yellow pages and greetings cards (no glitter or fabric).
The containers are collected on alternate weeks. The grey bin is emptied one week and the following week your recycling containers will be collected. Collection day information can be viewed by visiting find out your recycling and refuse collection day
