Garden waste
If you do not have a collection of green waste as part of the twin bin collection service and would like to recycle your garden waste from home you can arrange a monthly collection free of charge (offered all year round).
- The following types of garden waste can be accepted:
- Grass cuttings
- Garden prunings
- Branches and twigs
- Leaves, plants, flowers and weeds (no soil)
- Wood shavings and bark
Garden waste collections are carried out on the last Friday of each month and must be booked by 12pm on the last Thursday of each month. To arrange a collection of garden waste or for further details please complete the on-line form or contact Fylde Direct on 01253 658658.
Once your collection has been arranged please present your garden waste in bags at the edge of your property nearest to the pavement / footpath by 7:30am on the arranged date of collection.
